Frequently asked questions.

Everything about our films, installation, warranty, and tint laws, in one place.

About the Films

What is ceramic window film?

Ceramic film uses nano-ceramic particles to block heat and UV without metal or dyes. That means superior infrared rejection, no signal interference, and a finish that won't fade or turn purple over time.

Why choose ceramic over dyed or metallized film?

Dyed film fades and offers little real heat rejection; metallized film can interfere with GPS, cellular, and radio signals. Ceramic delivers the best heat and UV performance with crystal-clear optics and zero signal interference.

How do I pick the right shade (VLT)?

VLT (Visible Light Transmission) is how much light passes through, lower % means darker. 5% is limo-dark, 70% is nearly clear. Use the tint simulator on any product page to preview shades on your own vehicle, and always check your local tint laws first.

What's the difference between HyperCore, HyperPro, and HyperNano?

All three are true nano-ceramic. HyperCore is the smart-value entry, HyperPro is the popular sweet spot with higher heat rejection, and HyperNano is the flagship with maximum infrared and heat rejection.

Installation

How long does installation take?

A typical full-vehicle install takes 2-4 hours depending on the vehicle and number of windows. Your installer will give you an exact estimate.

How should I care for my tint after installation?

Leave windows rolled up for 3-5 days while the film cures. After that, clean with a soft microfiber cloth and an ammonia-free cleaner. Avoid abrasive materials.

Will I see bubbles after installation?

Small water pockets are normal for the first few days and disappear as the film cures. If anything remains after a week, contact your installer, it's covered by the warranty.

Warranty & Care

What does the warranty cover?

HyperCore and HyperPro carry a 10-year warranty, and HyperNano carries a lifetime warranty, against bubbling, peeling, fading, cracking, and delamination.

What isn't covered?

Damage from improper care, accidents, scratches from abrasive cleaning, or removal/reapplication by a third party is not covered. See the Warranty page for full terms.

How do I make a warranty claim?

Contact the installing dealer or reach out via our Contact page with your details and photos. We'll guide you through the simple claim process.

Tint Laws

Is window tint legal where I live?

Tint laws vary by state/country and specify minimum legal VLT % per window. Always confirm your local regulations before choosing a shade, your installer can advise on compliant options.

Which windows have stricter limits?

Front side windows and the windshield are typically the most restricted, while rear side windows and the back glass often allow darker shades. Check your local rules for exact figures.
